HOME STUDENTS: KEI SERVICES

We are here to help you! We understand that preparing to study abroad may seem like a daunting task. As long as you follow some basic steps the process is manageable and often rewarding. Our advisors and program managers will assist you through the entire process.

Program selection and approval...
Not sure which program is right for you? Just call or email a KEI advisor. All of our program advisors and managers have studied abroad, some in several locations. We will assist you in making an informed decision based on your interests and needs.

Program logistics...
Your KEI Program Manager will provide detailed information on housing, planned excursions, student activities and other program logistics. You can then customize the program based on your preferences - request housemates, package excursions, etc...

Course and internship selection...
KEI programs are designed to meet specific academic and professional interests. Most programs can be customized to individual needs. Your KEI Program Manager will work closely with you and your home school to determine the best combination of courses, independent study, research and internship.

Financial aid...
Most students use their financial aid packages to finance their study and intern abroad experiences. KEI has entered into consortiums with hundreds of universities and colleges to facilitate transfer of aid for study abroad. You Program Manager will also advise you about scholarships, grants, loans and payment plans available through KEI.

Travel planning & entry visas...
From obtaining a passport to applying for an entry visa to planning your travel, your KEI Program Manager will guide you along the way. KEI provide a wealth of resources and assistance with passports, student entry visas, low-fare airlines and travel abroad.

KEI Predeparture Guides...
KEI's Predeparture Guides are customized to each program location, and updated regularly. Our extensive guides cover a variety of topics relevant to study and travel abroad, including the host culture, educational system, student life, alumni suggestions, packing list and much more.
