The semester and academic year curriculum offers a wide selection of courses, internships and community service.
Courses are taught at Bahcesehir University (BAU).
Students can enroll in up to 15 credits per semester.
The Turkish Language course is required for students with no proficiency in Turkish.
All other courses are optional.
Selecting courses at BAU...
- Use the drop-down menu to select the desired Department under each Faculty (school/college).
- Click the Course Code to view syllabus (opens in a new window/tab). Course Codes link to the BAU server which can be very slow. If the syllabus does not load, wait 10 minutes and try again.
- Note: Courses listed under Semesters 1, 3, 5 and 7 are offered in the Fall. Courses listed under Semesters 2, 4, 6 and 8 are offered in the Spring. Select at least 4 back-up courses in case of cancellations or scheduling conflicts.
Internships & community service
Internships and cummnity service allow student to gain practical experience abroad.
Internships are available in business, media, hospitality, medicine and humanitarian aid.
Students are placed with local and international companies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), medical clinics, schools and humanitarian aid organizations.
Internships require a minimum commitment of 120 hours (3 credits), term paper and regular meetings with an internship supervisor.
Community service is available with humanitarian organizations, schools, orphanages and other organizations.
Community service is not-for-credit and does not require a minimum commitment; schedules are more flexible than for internships.
