SOUTH KOREA ACADEMICS
Semester (Fall or Spring), Academic Year (Fall + Spring), and Calendar Year (Spring + Fall) programs offer courses and internships. Courses are taught at Hanyang University (HYU). Internships are organized in partnership with HYU and CRCC Asia.
Students may enroll in a maximum of 15 credits (5 courses) per semester. HYU offers courses in business, engineering, computer science, art, media, design, sports, Korean studies, and many other subjects. The language of instruction is Korean, but many courses are taught in English. Students proficient in Korean may enroll in courses taught in Korean.
HYU Office of International Affairs offers Exclusive courses for visiting students. Exclusive courses are the most popular with study abroad students and are always taught in English. KEI students may also take General courses offered by HYU colleges and schools. General courses are more competitive since they are open to all (degree and visiting) students. KEI recommends students apply and enroll early, and take as many Exclusive courses as possible to ensure space in classes.
