SOUTH KOREA ACADEMICS
KEI offers two 2-week Winter Sessions and a 4-week Winter Term. The Winter Sessions consist of courses, while the Winter Term prioritizes internships. Courses are taught at Hanyang University (HYU). Internships are organized in partnership with HYU and CRCC Asia.
Winter Sessions (Courses)
Session A is from late December to early January. Session B is from late January to early February. Session A is best suited for students who want a 2-week experience during winter recess. Session A & B (combined) is recommended for students participating in the Academic Year program who want to stay in Korea between the Fall and Spring semesters.
Students may enroll in a maximum of 2 courses (5 credits) per winter session. Courses are available in business, engineering, computer science, art, media, design, sports, and Korean studies. The language of instruction is English.

Winter Term (Internship)
The Winter Term is from mid-December to early January. The Winter Term is best suited for students who prioritize an internship (3 credits). Students must also enroll in 1 course (3 credits). Courses and internships are in English (internships can also be organized in Korean and bilingual settings).
Courses are offered online and pre-recorded. Students can complete the coursework around their internship schedule. Download the Course Offerings (Winter) file to view courses and access syllabi. Note the tabs at the bottom of the file. Select the tab “TERM (Internship).”
Internships are available in engineering, computer science, IT, business, finance, marketing, creative media, health, and other professional fields. Placement is based on student interest and availability of positions.

CREDIT & TRANSCRIPTS
Credit and transcripts for courses and internships are issued by Hanyang University and Lincoln University (KEI school of record). HYU is accredited by the Korean University Accreditation Institute (KUAI); the College of Engineering is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET); and the School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Lincoln University is accredited in the USA by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).
