A Co-Sponsor Institution (CSI) is a university or college, accredited in the USA, that has partnered with KEI on a semester, academic year and/or summer study abroad program.
In general, co-sponsored programs are managed by KEI.
The CSI provides academic and logistical oversight for the program, manages the application and enrollment process, and issues program transcripts.
The University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY Albany), is a co-sponsor for semester, academic year and summer programs offered in Moscow, Russia and Pune, India.
SUNY Albany is an internationally recognized public research institution serving 18,000 students at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
SUNY Albany is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education to award bachelors, masters, specialists, and doctoral degrees.
Most academic programs are also accredited by their respective professional accrediting agencies.

Co-sponsored programs also include KEI's Integrated Summer Programs (all locations), which combine courses taught by faculty from the host university abroad with courses taught by visiting faculty from universities in the USA.
Students participating in these programs apply through KEI or their home university's study abroad office.
Credit (and transcripts) for courses taught by a visiting professor is awarded by the professor's university in the USA.
Visit the Courses & Internships page for each program location for specific information about credit and transcripts.
