KEI is committed to the highest standards in study abroad.
We partner with respected institutions abroad to deliver a high quality curriculum and academic services.
KEI programs are evaluated internally by our management team and externally by KEI's university of record, co-sponsor universities, study abroad administrators and academic faculty from universities across the USA.
We also listen closely to our alumni, making sure to implement policies and changes that directly benefit students.
KEI continuously assesses its programs.
Our management and staff make regular visits to program locations to evaluate and improve on all components of the program, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Academic curriculum
- Student housing
- On-site support services
- Safety and emergency response plans
- Program logistics
We never lose sight of student needs.
All of our programming decisions are made based on what is best for students.
KEI program managers receive regular feedback from students during the program.
Whenever possible, we will accommodate the immediate needs and interests of participants.
Alumni evaluations are reviewed regularly and serve as the basis for program adjustments.
KEI is a member of and follows professional guidelines set forth by the following organizations:
|
The university of record (UOR) is an accredited university in the USA that is charged with evaluating and monitoring academic standards at KEI's host institutions, and awarding program credit and transcripts. KEI programs meet, and in many cases exceed, the standards set forth by the UOR's institutional accreditor in the USA.
Co-sponsored programs are developed and/or managed by KEI in partnership with an accredited university in the USA.
The Co-Sponsoring Institution provides academic and logistical oversight for the program, manages the application and enrollment process, and issues program transcripts.
Each year KEI plans program visits for study abroad advisors and faculty from universities and secondary schools in the USA. Educators have the opportunity to evaluate KEI's host institution, discuss curriculum with local faculty and administrators, observe classes, visit student housing, take in the local culture, meet with the KEI On-Site Coordinator and support staff, and discuss the program with KEI students. The visits are intended to familiarize international educators with and provide an objective review of KEI programs.
KEI partners with reputable universities, research centers, academies and professional organizations.
KEI's partner institutions adhere to the highest standards of practice in education.
All host institutions are validated by the local Ministry of Education and/or a recognized independent body in the host region.
Many of our partner universities and research centers are internationally recognized for their excellence and ranked among the top tier of institutions in the host country.
