The KEI program fee covers the cost of tuition and basic academic fees at the host institution.
You will be registered at the host institution prior to your arrival.
Internship Placement
We encourage qualified students to participate in research, clinical, humanitarian and/or professional internships.
Internship placement, supervision and academic credit are all part of the KEI program.
There are no additional fees for these services.

You are also welcome to call our office and we will gladly email you the files.
Our advisors are available to assist you in selecting your courses and internships and work with your home university on credit approval.

The program includes one official and one unofficial transcript.
The official transcript will be mailed to your home institution.
The unofficial transcript will be mailed to your home address.
You have the option of receiving transcripts form the host institution or KEI's university of record, an accredited university in the U.S.A.
Unlike many other program providers, KEI does not charge additional fees for the university of record transcript.
Access to Campus Facilities & Services
All students have access to host university facilities and services.
Facilities and services vary according to university but may include:
Health Clinic
Sport Center
Computer labs and Internet
Language labs
Room & Board
We know how important housing is to the overall experience abroad.
We strive to honor housing and housemate requests.
Don't hesitate to speak with a KEI advisor if you want to live with a friend or have special needs.
Housing options vary by destination, but may include student apartments, residence halls and/or homestays.
KEI chooses housing based on location, convenience, quality and affordability.
Most housing options include a kitchen that can be used by student to prepare meals
Partial meal plans are included in some, but not all, KEI programs.
Check individual program pages for detailed information about meal plans.
Cultural Excursions & Activities
KEI offers more excursions than other study abroad program providers in the same location.
That's because we think of excursions as an integral part of learning about the host country and integrating with the host culture.
However, should you decide not to participate in the excursions just let us know before the enrollment deadline and we will deduct the cost of excursions from the program fee.
Note that internship only programs do not include excursions outside the host city.

To help reduce your anxiety and for your convenience, you will be greeted at the airport by a KEI representative who will transport you to the housing or campus.
Certain restrictions apply; ask your Program Manager
Mobile Telephone
Every student receives a cell phone with initial calling minutes at the beginning of the program.
Unlike other study abroad program providers, KEI does not charge for the use of the phones (students are responsible for covering the cost of personal calls).
We believe it's an important safety feature and facilitates communication between students and KEI On-Site Coordinator, friends in the host country and people back home.
The following items are not included in KEI's program price.

The $100 application fee must be submitted with the application form and supplemental materials.
Students who apply and enroll early will receive a refund of the $100 application fee.
