FRANCE ACADEMICS
The Study & Work option combines Spring semester of study with a 2-month unpaid summer internship. Positions are available in fashion, luxury retail, marketing, e-commerce, finance, tourism and hospitality. Previous placements include Michael Kors, Boon Agency (Paris based fashion design firm), BHV Marais (department store) and WiPlay (decoration platform), Arodaky Rime (bridle wear).
Proficiency in French is NOT required for the internship. However, students who are below intermediate level of proficiency are strongly encouraged to enroll in a French language course during Spring semester.
Spring Semester
Students register for the following:
- Up to 5 courses selected from the ABS course offerings
- French language is strongly recommended, but not required
FREN 290 Business French (1 credits) (1 credit) – required- BUSI390 Company Case Challenge (2 credit) – required
Students must also attend Career Management Development workshops, individual coaching sessions with the ABS Head of Career Development, networking conferences and corporate talks.
Summer Term
Students register for the following:
- BUSI220 Internship (4 credits)
- BUSI222 Internship Supervision & Report (2 credits)

Credit and transcripts are issued by ABC (accredited in France) or Lincoln University (accredited in the USA).
HOST UNIVERSITY
The The American Business College (ABC) offers US-style Bachelor and Master degrees to French and international student. Small class size, diversity and tolerance create a learning environment for cross-cultural exchange and understanding. ABC is accredited by IACBE and France Competences.
